Extensive functionalities and simple operation
Fabian Rahlmann started out with just one employee, but the demand was enormous and so the order volume grew and the orders became more complex. The administrative workload grew accordingly. During his market research, the company founder came across the mobile solution 123onsite and decided to use it. In addition to the extensive functionalities, the ease of use was a decisive factor.
Transfer all data automatically
In the beginning, the site manager registered the colleagues in the morning in 123onsite the corresponding construction site and recorded the attendance times were recordedsoon all employees were equipped with mobile devices. The system assigns the times to a construction site and, if desired, to the components and construction areas. The results are transmitted by radio to the payroll department at 123onsite . “Today, payroll accounting no longer has to enter the information from the manually completed slips of paper into the system at the end of the week or month. This procedure is not only extremely time-consuming, but also prone to errors,” says Managing Director Rahlmann.
Photo documentation valued
Rahlmann was particularly taken with the Photo documentation. He appreciates the fact that the colleague on site can take photos of the construction progress and problematic issues, the data is immediately transferred to the office and is available to him. The construction company also uses the 123onsite app to record the current weather conditions directly on site at any time. Fabian Rahlmann explains: “ This is particularly helpful during the time of year with many bad weather days and storms. This enables us to provide the customer with optimum documentation of delays in the construction process .”

Fabian Rahlmann receives a daily overview of the materials taken from the warehouses from 123onsite and uses this to check the supplier invoices. In future, the plan is to record the bulk materials delivered to the construction site, photograph the corresponding delivery bills and assign the data to the construction site.
The use of machinery and equipment is logged by the construction and civil engineering company for each construction site. Equipment such as compactors etc., which are on site during the entire construction project, are only logged in once and then logged out again when they are removed from the construction site. Fabian Rahlmann is interested in the efficiency of the use of power equipment such as tracked excavators, wheel loaders and compactors. For this reason, the company records operating times, meter readings, power output, who operated the equipment and how many liters of fuel were used. The plan is to take this data into account for the calculation of future projects in order to calculate even more accurately.
Less paper, more transparency
By using the software, the bureaucratic effort and thus the paperwork for the company founder has been significantly minimized and the transparency of the processes increased. This is a significant advantage, particularly in the start-up and subsequent growth phase. “Today, nobody can claim to have put notes with their hours in the office. I can immediately see whether the hours have been entered,” explains Fabian Rahlmann.
