3 helpful 123onsite add-on features that many of our construction companies underestimate
Many users know the basic functions of the software they are working with. However, it is even more efficient if you also know all the tricks of the software and possible add-ons. Laura Evers from the 123onsite support team explains in this article which add-ons for construction software are useful and how they can benefit your construction company.

Die Bausoftware 123erfasst hat zwei Grundmodule, die viele nützliche Grundfunktionen enthalten. Dazu zählen die Zeiterfassung und das Modul Baulohn. Die Zeiterfassung ist das Basic-Modul für die Zeiterfassung mit digitalen Stundenzetteln für Bauunternehmen. Das Modul Baulohn kann alles, was das Basic-Modul Zeiterfassung auch kann. Hinzu kommt beim Baulohn die automatisierte Lohnberechnung und die Stundenverwaltung.

1st add-on: You can fill out your individual forms via the app
Individual formsthat you use for acceptance reports or site inspections, for example, can be created in this add-on according to your needs. Your employees can then simply fill them out using the app.

Die Arbeit mit individuellen Formularen fühlt sich an wie eine eigene App für dein Unternehmen. Am besten erstellst du deine individuellen Formulare vorab im Büro und speicherst sie dort, wo auch deine Stammdaten angelegt sind. Die Formulare können im Add-on frei konfiguriert werden, und auch Unterschriftenfelder kannst du damit erstellen. Füllen Mitarbeitende das Formular dann auf ihrem Smartphone aus, erscheint ein Hinweis, dass alle Pflichtfelder befüllt werden müssen und nicht ausgelassen werden können. So erinnert das Programm daran, auch die Unterschriften zu setzen.
2nd add-on: Chat so that information flows to all construction sites
Communication on the construction site is the be-all and end-all for fast, smooth construction progress.
This is exactly why we developed our chat add-on. Employees can write information about construction sites and everyone who is responsible for these construction sites can view it: How are things going right now? How is the weather? Are there any problems? Do we need more Staff on site? This chat function allows you to exchange information quickly and easily.
The chat does not take place between individual people, but is instead site-related. This has the advantage that only relevant information is exchanged and documented at the same time. To ensure that employees only receive chat messages that are relevant to them, they can set the construction sites for which they want to receive push notifications. They can also deactivate the push messages completely if they do not wish to receive them. Employees will still receive the messages themselves, but they will not be alerted each time by a push notification on their cell phone.
Important technical note: The chat feature is already integrated into our basic modules, but cloud-based it only works on our own server and not when customers host their own server.
Sending information in such a way that all employees involved can view it at the same time and the progress is documented saves time and nerves.
3rd add-on: In planning, employees can see what they have to do and where
Everything administrative, such as the Schedulingyou do in the office in advance. This is where you schedule employees for the various construction sites and determine which equipment they should take with them. Thanks to our planning add-on individual employees can then see in the app who they are on this construction site with and which equipment they should have with them, or receive further information that is important for the construction site. Employees can also see in the app for what period they are planned per construction site and in what period they have to drive to the next construction site.
The plus of the add-on: Employees can navigate directly to the construction site via the planning – simply by clicking on the address.
